This year, Jim and I arrived back in London on New Years Eve. We slept a few hours, went to the grocery store, forced ourselves to stay awake until midnight. LISTENED to the fireworks all around us (we couldn't see them from our bed!), kissed each other goodnight, and proceeded to sleep 14 hours straight, almost through the entire first day of 2008. What a couple of party animals.
