Some of Jim's moments

Recently, Jim convinced me to go with him to a BBQ place near Oxford Street called BoDean's. As we approached, we noticed that there was a guy in a UT tee-shirt standing outside of the door. When we entered we discovered a ROOM FULL of Texas fans, watching a football game from the day before via computer. Being an Aggie, Jim felt a little anxious (even though he's a two-percenter, he still has some Aggie pride). Fortunately, I hid his Aggie ring from him a long time ago, so his status was not obvious. It was kind of weird being a. in a BBQ place and b. in a room full of Texans in the middle of London.

A moment of glory came for Jim on Saturday when we finally caved in and bought a TV! Here is Jim, gleefully holding his new TV.

Unfortunately, it was broken, so he had to take it back and get another one. But now he is settled comfortably on the couch, watching Flags of our Fathers at high volume (he immediately rigged the TV up to the stereo speakers for maximum effect and the first thing he watched on the TV was a Cure video). Some things never change.
